Oh to be King !

Hi Ya,

This funny looking frog is from Hambo Stamps Digital Images - they have great quirky digis.  I made this card back in September for my brother in law.  It cracks me up whenever i see it !  I didn't send it though as Hubby thought it might be a bit childish (he's a bit conservative ! ) - me - i don't think its a bit over the top! - maybe ill send it too myself next birthday !

Beautiful Butterflies

Hello All !

I have used one of KLMs Digital Stamps - a beautiful image.

I decoupaged it and used
Glossy Accents on the
Butterfly Wings.

I thought it was just perfect
on it's own, so no need to
colour in.

I used it for a Sympathy Card.

Punches are both Martha Stewart.
And i managed to tie a bow in that bloomin grossgrain !
See ya ...

Smile

I did this using one of the Kars/Ollyfant sets. This set is called Autumn 2 . They are so affordable and really good value. They stamp beautifully well and i love 'em !

For the lettering i used sizzix decorative strip alphabets; Easy Peasy & Small Stuff. Both available from Sir Stampalot, and they have the full range of the Ollyfant clear rubber stamp sets too.

Fluffy Fibers

I finally used some fibres ! The background stamp is Hero Arts but it looks like Penny Black style to me ?! The Chicks etc are from a Kars/Ollyfant set.

Ollyfant are so affordable and they stamp perfectly, they are not an inferior product at all - infact quite the opposite.
Sir Stampalot have the whole range including the 4 new sets.

It's another one i made earlier, thank goodness i have a stash of them !

This one is a bit elaborate !.. I made the pagoda on my PC and cut it out on my cricut with Sure Cuts A Lot. A Brilliant programe that lets you cut out any font on you computer... amongst other things.

The flowers and branch and corner are all sizzix sizzlet dies. And of course the 3 Oriental ladies are Hero Arts and very cute indeed !

Arigato !

Hello Ladies (and Jellyspoons of course)

I love this word ARIGATO - just rolls off the tongue. Evidently it means Thank You - but Arigato sounds much nicer don't you think !

This Oriental girlie has an Evil Twin. She looked a bit - well mad actually ! - so i lobbed off her cheeks and her feet and slanted her eyes a bit so now she looks quite cute.

Been meaning to use dangly beads for ages, and sewin...

Arigato for looking.
thought i'd just slip that in! See ya.

Feel Like a King !

Hello every one !

I loved using this set of Hero Arts clear stamps, its a really fun set ! I coloured in with Souffle pens for a nice bright solid colour. I embossed the branch on blue cardstock to add a bit of colour. And Daisy Bucket paper sets it off a treat. All supplies from Sir Stampalot or course !

I really must figure out an easier way to manage gifting the Awards, it takes me forever ! Maybe there's some bright spark out there working on a program for us to do it with. So, we could just fill in the details, click on send and ping its all done !

More Froggies

Hi Ya

This is a card i did for my husband's birthday. I tried to keep it quite plain cos i know how guy's don't go for all that razamatazz !
His birthday was on the 3rd July and we've only just taken it off the mantle!

I used a Digi Stamp from Victoria Case. She does fantastic drawings - funny people or animals with lots of humour in them, right up my street ! I really do recommend you take a look.

Peek a Bunny Two

I like this one best. I think its the colours, all fresh and clean, with Daisy Bucket papers. But what a lovely stamp.

I had a go at making my own flowers using sequins. Just layering them up. I used Glossy accents as glue- nice and strong.

For the stems, i used large paper clips cut into different sizes. They are already stripey!

And then tied on ribbon, just as knots.

Now then, i have found i can't tie a good bow with my bowmaker if i use ribbon that is too skinny. The ribbon needs to be a bit wider to
get a nice fat plush bow.

I shall try and post a bit more frequently, i just haven't been so good lately. But it's certainly cheered me up chatting to you guys, i should have done it sooner. Thanks for stopping by.

Peek a Bunny One

Hi ya, sorry my blogs been a bit dead lately - 3 weeks since ive posted - disgraceful ! Luckily nobodys keeping tabs on me (i hope!). At least my lovely followers haven't all gone and left me !!! That would be sad - I think i'd have to give up and go and eat worms.

Here's a bunny card i did about 4 weeks ago. I know im a shameless cheat, but, I haven't been able to do any crafting lately.

I did try to cobble something together today but I'm feeling really grotty with a cold at the moment. Then i cut off the end of my finger with the guillotine. It's a safety one, so heaven only knows i'd have probably lost my finger if it wasn't. Anyway, that put end to that. But it's alright i managed to stick it back on !!!
I used perfect pearls on the bunny and
glossy accents on the watering can.

I'm quite pleased how the shrink plastic one came out.
I'm always trying different things on shrink plastic but the only thing that seems to work for me is the little Versacolour cubes.
